Lawn Care Services We Provide
Mowing - Whether mowing a residential or commercial property, all turf areas are maintained by our commercial grade mowers ( i.e. reel mower, 36" or 48" walk-behind, 60" zero radius riding, etc). We make sure the lawn is mowes at the required/appropriate height in order to maximize health and vigor of the specific variety of turf. Mowing of all turf areas will be done so more frequently during the growing season (April through October), and on an 'as needed' basis during the off and leaf seasons (November through March).
Trimming - Trimming is performed using a commercial grade string trimmer, and will cover all applicable areas not able to be reached via mowing in order to maintain required/appropriate height of the existing variety of turf.
Edging - Edging is performed using a commercial grade stick edger. All beds, walk and driveways, and any other applicable areas needed to be edged will be upon every visit or on an 'as needed' basis in order to maintain the aesthetics and neatness of the property.
Weed Control- We take pride in knowing which weeds are predominant in the Wilmington area. Weed control of all bed areas is performed upon each visit in order to keep all beds reasonably free of weeds, and will be done so with either the appropriate chemicals or manually. All large weeds will be pulled by hand, where as the smaller weeds will be sprayed in order to maintain the aesthetics of the property.
Mulch & Pine Straw - Mulch (i.e. shredded hardwood, died shredded hardwood, pine straw, etc.) is applied to any existing bed that already contains mulch at a rate of 1-2" per ft2, also known as top-dressing. In the event a new bed is created and mulch is required/requested, a rate of 2-3" per ft2 will be applied in order to maintain proper retainage of moisture and control the presence of weeds.
Seasonal Color - Seasonal Color includes the hand selection of premium annuals, preparation of the specified area in which the annuals will go, and installation of said annuals. Preparation includes the removal of any existing plant material, and the inclusion and tilling in of soil amendments. Mulch, at the appropriate levels of 2-3" per ft2, will be placed around the areas in which the annuals were planted. The appropriate/required fertilizers will be applied to the selected annuals during their growing season in order to promote growth and vigor to the plants; in turn, providing brilliant color in your landscape.
Pruning - Pruning is performed on all trees and shrubs 10' and under on an 'as needed' basis in order to maintain the natural form of the plant as well as a neat and clean appearance. Additional pruning for faster growing plants may be required throughout the season. Any shrub/tree in excess of 10' in height can be pruned at request of the client.
Trash/Debris Removal - All trash and debris located in the areas maintained by Landscapes Unlimited is removed from the property during each visit, and disposed of in the required/appropriate manner in order to maintain the cleanliness of the property.
Blowing - Blowing is performed using a commercial grade blower. All walk and driveways, parking lots, and any other applicable areas are blown off of any clippings/debris upon each visit in order to maintain the cleanliness of the property.
